Pictures do not do this watch justice. This extremely rare S.Coifman chronograph has a case made of 18k red gold. The Skeletonized Valjoux 23 is just mesmerizing. The sound when that mainspring winds is addicting.
Info pulled from Grail-Watch.com “The Valjoux 23 was made from 1916-1974 with only 126,582 being made over its 58 year run. It was used by many brands including but not limited to Breitling, Bulova, Certina, Doxa, Enicar, Favre-Leuba, Girard-Perreguex, Heuer, Nivada, Roamer, Tissot, Ulysse Nardin, Wittnauer and Zodiac. Even Patek Philippe based its Cal. 13 130 on the Valjoux 23”. Pieces like this don’t come around all the time. In fact this is the only example I can find for sale so pricing is a bit tricky.
